This quote is funny, but it makes a lot of sense. When the person says it's unfamiliar territory, they mean that a lot of people don't think before they do or say things. Usually, the not thinking causes a lot of conflict.

You are right. This was funny! What do you think about the author's play on the idea of getting "lost", and "unfamiliar territory"? It almost seems like they are out in the woods, right? Why do you think the author chose that analogy?
