And the neck-that neck; and the blanket she wore over her head-ragged and filthy. And under the brown sack-shaped tunic those enormous breasts, the bulge of the stomach, the hips."
It really makes you picture in your mind the way this woman looks and it seems repulsive. The author wanted readers to create a mental image in their minds of this apparently very ugly woman.
